Hi, I'm Lisa Gillispie. I developed Move Better, Feel Better: Pain Relief for Knees, Hips, and Backs because I've seen too many people blame "getting old" or genetics for their symptoms when they could be helping themselves get relief.
Your strength, mobility and stability deficits, along with your daily habits, are roadblocks that set you up for the symptoms you're experiencing - that achy back, twingy hip, knees that don't like the stairs, sneeze pee and more.
I can show you simple steps to bridge those deficits and change the way you move so you get relief from your symptoms.
My years of dance training and teaching gave me a keen eye for noticing people's movement and alignment habits. I've honed this further in my bodywork practice of 20 years, as a Nutritious Movement™ certified Restorative Exercise Specialist and as a Somatic Experiencing™ Practitioner. All of this experience informs the program I've created for you, the information I wish I'd had years ago.

Frequently asked questions
Will this course fix my problem?
The short answer is I don't know. Each person comes to this course with a unique combination of factors that have contributed to their symptoms. The material in this course is designed to give you alignment and movement strategies that can decrease your symptoms and begin to correct the alignment and movement factors that have contributed to what you're experiencing.
And, depending on the specifics of your particular situation, the material in this course may yield the best results when done in conjunction with other supportive strategies such as physiotherapy, bodywork, diet changes, etc.
Do I have enough time for this?
The course content is designed to give you the most important information in the least amount of time. Most days it's 5 minutes and once a week there will be a mini practice session that's 15-20 minutes long. You get to choose how much time you spend practicing the exercises. During the course I'll share tips for how to work in these exercises throughout your day.
What happens if I fall behind or need more than 4 weeks to get through the course?
The course is delivered over a 4 week period but you are welcome to move through the material at your own pace. You will have lifetime access to the course materials, however, in order to get the most benefit from the course, I encourage you to practice daily, even 5-10 minutes.
How long will I have access to the course materials?
You will have lifetime access to the material after the 4 week are complete and I'm available on an ongoing basis inside the classroom to answer questions related to the course.
Will I be able to get personalized feedback?
Yes. You will be able to upload photos and short video clips inside our online classroom if you would like my feedback on some of the exercises taught during the course.
Will the videos play on my iPad?

The exercises in this course are considered to be safe for pregnant women and pregnant women have safely participated in this course. However, as with any exercise program, please consult with your health care provider to see if there are any movement restrictions that apply to your unique situation.
